Lasvit, fundada en 2007 y con sede en la República Checa, es un fabricante de piezas únicas de vidrio, incluidas instalaciones para iluminación, obras de arte de vidrio y colecciones premiadas. Lasvit combina la autenticidad del cristal de Bohemia con un diseño único, la artesanía y las tecnologías innovadoras. En unos pocos años, Lasvit se ha establecido como autoridad en esculturas de iluminación a medida, como de piezas de arte hechas en vidrio soplado a mano.
Además de las tiendas de alto nivel, como Graff Diamonds, Chanel y Victoria´s Secret, también incluyen proyectos especiales, tales como el Museo del Vidrio de Corning en Nueva York. La clientela principal de Lasvit es la industria de la hospitalidad. Sus clientes incluyen marcas de prestigio como Four Seasons, Hyatt, Shangri-La, The Península, The Ritz-Carlton y Hilton.
Recientemente, el diseñador Francois Frossard basado en Miami, colaboró con Lasvit en el hotel Moon Palace Jamaica Grande en Ocho Ríos, Jamaica. Lasvit contribuyó a hacer de este Resort ubicado en un antiguo pueblo de pescadores de Jamaica, un paraíso vacacional. Al entrar al hotel, los huéspedes son recibidos por la escultura de iluminación UOVO. El complejo también cuenta con colgantes como; Never-ending Glory, Blue Crystal Rock, Frozen y Glitters, todo de las colecciones de Lasvit.
El principal reto artístico era capturar la esencia de la localidad por medio de cristal. Las luminarias de Lasvit representan las aguas cristalinas del Caribe, a la vez que juegan con los reflejos de la luz y los tonos azules inspirados en el mar.

Lasvit, founded in 2007 and based in the Czech Republic, is a manufacturer of unique works of glass, including bespoke lighting installations, glass artworks, and award-winning collections. Lasvit combines the authenticity of Bohemian glass with unique design, craftsmanship and innovative technologies. In a few short years, Lasvit has established itself as the authority delivering bespoke lighting sculptures and art installations made from hand-blown glass.
Besides high-end retail stores, like Graff Diamonds, Chanel and Victoria's Secret and including specialty projects such as the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, Lasvit's main clientele remains in the top of hospitality industry. Their clients include the Four Seasons, Hyatt, Shangri-La, The Peninsula, The Ritz-Carlton and Hilton.
Recently, Miami Based designer Francois Frossard collaborated with Lasvit on the Palace Resorts' Moon Palace Jamaica Grande located in Ocho Rios. Lasvit contributed to making this former Jamaican fishing village a vacation paradise. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by the UOVO lighting sculpture. The resort also features pendants as; Never-ending Glory, Blue Crystal Rock, Frozen and Glitters, all from Lasvit Collections.
The main artistic challenge was to capture the essence of the resort through the medium of glass. Lasvit installations represent the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean, as well as playing with light reflections and the blue tones inspired by the sea.
