IHC, soluciones de ingeniería innovadoras y sostenibles

La experiencia de IHC en el diseño hidráulico sostenible y la continua capacitación en el área, les permiten realizar diseños que se ajustan a la necesidad técnica de los diferentes proyectos.

IHC nace hace 20 años, fundada por Hernando Caina quien decide consolidar su experiencia en el área de las instalaciones hidráulicas formando una empresa que se caracterizara por estar a la vanguardia de la ingeniería, con el mejor capital humano y gran eficiencia en la ejecución de proyectos. 
La calidad y cumplimiento de la empresa le ayudó a entablar buenas relaciones comerciales con las constructoras más importantes del país como Pedro Gómez y Cia, Coninsa, OIKOS, Ambienti. Este esfuerzo se consolidó en el 2016 al ser escogido por la multinacional Claro, quienes seleccionaron entre las mejores firmas del país a IHC, para diseñar y ejecutar el proyecto Plaza Claro en la ciudad de Bogotá.
Pioneros en la remodelación de grandes superficies y edificaciones existentes que requerían instalar redes de protección contra incendio para cumplir con la normas nacionales, IHC ejecutó proyectos como los centros comerciales Andino, Avenida Chile, Bulevar Niza, Unicentro Medellín, Aeropuerto de Cúcuta, Edificios Banco de Occidente y Ministerio de Hacienda, lo cual les ha hecho especialistas en esta área.
Otros importantes proyectos en los que IHC ha participado a nivel nacional son: Aeropuerto de Bucaramanga, Aeropuerto de Valledupar, Zona Franca de Cartagena, Zona Franca de Bogotá, Corferias, Borde Activo. 
Actualmente participa en proyectos tales como: Cedi Gachancipá Ara, Coltanques, Colsubsidio Colina, Gradeco Business Plaza, C.C. Serrezuela, Hotel Hilton Santa Marta.

ENFOQUE SOSTENIBLE
Involucrados de forma temprana en proyectos con enfoque verde que buscaban optimizar la utilización del recurso hídrico, IHC participó hace 10 años en el diseño de las redes hidráulicas del proyecto REN Corferias, donde se hizo recuperación de aguas lluvias y la aplicación de las últimas tecnologías como válvulas Studor y Hammer Arrester, la cuales con los años se popularizaron en el medio hidráulico. 
“Nuestra política de trabajo proactivo nos ha llevado a estar junto a la firma Payc en diversos proyectos tipo LEED y a asociarnos al Consejo Colombiano de Construcción Sostenible, capacitando nuestro personal para brindar la mejor asesoría”, destacó Javier Andrés Caina, Gerente General de IHC. Agregó que actualmente la empresa se está posicionando en el área de diseño, caracterizándose por el servicio al cliente, el conocimiento técnico y plantear soluciones de ingeniería innovadoras y a la medida de cada proyecto. 
“La construcción sostenible es un mercado relativamente nuevo en nuestro país y que algunas constructoras evitan por cuestión de costos, pero en el área hidráulica sabemos cómo hacerlo sin gastar más y convirtiendo el ahorro de agua en un factor que genera valor en el proyecto volviéndolo más atractivo para el cliente final; buscamos principalmente la optimización del uso del recurso hídrico, minimizando el consumo de agua potable,  utilizando alternativas como aguas lluvias y grises tratadas, que permitan su implementación en los sanitarios, riego y servicios generales”, comentó por último Javier Andrés Caina.
